Before you travel
Stock up in Garden Valley first
Community sources report you buy Magic Mail with Sheckles in Garden Valley before entering — it reportedly can't be purchased inside Fall Harvest World (purchase location is unconfirmed across sources, so verify in-game). If your best find has no Magic Mail to carry it home, it stays in the event inventory until your next trip back.
Super Magic Mail (0.015% stock)— if you see it in the shop, buy it immediately. It's the only way to move Mythic items (like the Shadow Dragon) home.
At minimum, carry one Rare Magic Mail(500K Sheckles) before entering. It's cheap enough that there's no excuse to go in without one.
Each mail carries one item. If you plan to bring home multiple pets or seeds, you need multiple mails — not one.

How it works. Each Magic Mail is a consumable gear that sends one item from your Fall Harvest inventory to your Garden Valley mailbox. Open the mailbox in the main world to claim it. The mail is consumed on use.
