Codes guide
How redemption works, where codes come from, and how to never miss a fresh drop.
Last reviewed: Jun 21, 2026
Codes are short alphanumeric strings that the Grow a Garden 2 developers release through their official channels. Each code can be redeemed once per account for free rewards — typically Sheckles, seeds, or limited-time items. They are the single fastest way to bootstrap a new account.
We maintain a verified daily-updated list of every active and expired code on the codes page. This guide explains how redemption works, where codes come from, and how to monitor for new drops — so you can redeem them the moment they are published.

Steps
- 1Step 1 — Find the codes window in-game
The codes window is reachable from the main HUD. The exact icon location varies between updates but is typically on the left side of the screen with the other menu buttons (Shop, Pets, Guild, Codes).
Tap the Codes button to open a small text entry field.
- 2Step 2 — Copy a code from the verified list
Open the codes page in any browser (mobile-friendly). Each code is shown with its reward, status (active/expired), and the last-verified date.
Tap the code to copy it to your clipboard. No typing required — codes are case-sensitive and a single mistyped character means a "code not found" error.
- 3Step 3 — Paste and confirm
On most platforms, paste with Ctrl+V(PC), long-press and select Paste (mobile), or the controller's select button (Xbox/PlayStation). Press the on-screen Redeem button.
Successful redemption shows a confirmation message and the reward lands in your inventory or Sheckles balance immediately. You can redeem as many codes as you like per day, but each code can only be redeemed once per account.
- 4Step 4 — Verify the reward landed
Occasionally a code redemption succeeds on the server but the UI does not update immediately. If the reward does not appear, leave the game and rejoin — the reward will be in your balance on next login.
If the code shows "expired" or "already redeemed" that is final — there is no appeal process. Move on to the next code.
- 5Codes source — where new codes come from
Verified official channels:
- Discord — discord.gg/growagarden2. The primary channel for code drops, typically in a #announcements or #codes channel.
- X (Twitter)— @GrowaGardenRblx. Used for milestone drops (e.g. "100k followers code") and patch-note promotions.
- In-game patch notes. Major updates occasionally ship with a celebratory code.
Channels that are NOT official:
- YouTube "code" videos — often outdated or fake.
- Third-party "code generator" sites — always scams.
- Random players in chat — codes from other Roblox games do not work in Grow a Garden 2.
- 6Why codes expire
Most codes fall into one of three expiration patterns:
- Milestone codes — released when the game hits a follower/visit count. Often have a long window but still expire eventually.
- Update codes — released with a patch. Typically expire when the next patch lands.
- Limited-time codes — released for events (Halloween, Christmas). Expire when the event ends.
We mark each code on the codes page with its current status and last-verified date so you know exactly which ones are still redeemable.
- 7How to never miss a code
Recommended monitoring routine:
- Join the official Discord (discord.gg/growagarden2) and enable notifications on the announcements channel.
- Follow @GrowaGardenRblx on X and turn on the bell notification.
- Bookmark our codes page and check it once a day. We update daily and mark each code with its last-verified date.
- Redeem new codes within 24 hours of release — limited-time codes can disappear fast.
Common reward types:
- Sheckles — direct currency bonus.
- Seeds — often a free mid-tier seed (Tomato, Apple, etc.).
- Limited-time items — usually event-themed and not obtainable any other way.
We deliberately do not list specific code strings in this guide — they change too often. Always check the live codes page for current rewards.

Tips
Five code-redemption rules
- Codes are case-sensitive — copy and paste, do not type.
- Each code is one-per-account. Trading does not duplicate redemption.
- Codes from other Roblox games do not work in Grow a Garden 2.
- If a code says "expired", it is final. Move on.
- Never enter your Roblox password on a third-party site offering code generators. The official redemption flow is in-game only.
