How to get every badge in Grow a Garden 2

A step-by-step unlock guide for all 23 badges. Each entry includes difficulty, recommended stage, win rate, and a concrete tactic. Badge statistics are from the Roblox Badges API as of June 2026.

Badge system overview
Grow a Garden 2 ships with 23 badges across 6 categories.

Most badges are earned through natural gameplay, but several — especially 500 ft Plant, 1000 ft Plant, 100 kg Fruit, OMG its MEGA, and the launch-week OG — require specific strategies or are no longer obtainable. The badges break into four difficulty bands:

  • Easy: earned by most players within the first few hours — often unavoidably.
  • Intermediate: requires some dedication and understanding of mechanics.
  • Hard: advanced achievements that test mastery of seeds, mutations, pets, or raiding.
  • Limited: only available during specific time windows.

Cross-cutting tips
Growing tall plants

Use seeds with high growth potential — see the Seed Tier List. Water regularly. Stack a Deer pet (10% growth aura), a Rare Sprinkler (3× in radius), and a Legendary Sprinkler (4×) for the fastest path to 500 ft and 1000 ft.

Growing heavy fruits

Fruit weight depends on seed type and plant health. Bamboo (2.0 kg avg) and Cactus (1.5 kg) are the strongest weight candidates for 25 kg and 50 kg milestones. For 100 kg, focus on Legendary-tier seeds.

Triggering Gold / Rainbow

Mutations appear randomly on harvested fruits. The Golden Dragonfly doubles Gold chance and the Unicorn doubles Rainbow chance. See the mutations guide for the full stacking rules.

Getting BIG / MEGA pets

Pet size is random when you obtain or hatch a pet. Focus on cheaper pets to maximize attempts per Sheckle. With only ~884 Mega pets in existence, OMG its MEGA! is a long-term goal.

Night stealing

The Stole a Fruit! badge requires you to steal from another player's garden at night. Read the stealing guide for the full raid loop and target-selection rules.

Data notes. Badge statistics are sourced directly from the official Roblox Badges API (universe 10200395747), fetched on 2026-06-22. Win rates and awarded counts change as more players earn badges. Egg Hatcher! is live — over 764,000 players have hatched a pet egg. Common Eggs come from Guild weekly rewards; see the eggs page for hatch rates.
