About GAG2 Wiki

GAG2 Wiki is a fan-made community wiki and toolkit for Grow a Garden 2 (GAG2). We are not official and are not affiliated with Strawberreh Squad, Roblox Corporation, or any game developer or publisher.

About The Garden Codex

The Garden Codex is an independent game-content studio. We research, edit, and publish reference wikis, value lists, and interactive tools for Roblox games — starting with Grow a Garden 2 (the official Roblox game page). The studio is run by a small team of GAG2 players and editors publishing under the The Garden Codex editorial brand so the content can speak for itself.

Our work is grounded in three commitments:

  • Editorial transparency. Every value, stat, and code on this site is tagged with a confidence label (Verified / Likely / Unconfirmed) and traceable to a source listed on our data sources & methodology page.
  • Compliance. We do not provide, link to, or endorse third-party automation, unsafe tools, or ToS-breaking tools. All game imagery is used under fair use for editorial identification, heavily compressed, and credited inline with a “© Roblox” chip. Every page carries a fan-made disclaimer.
  • Editorial independence. We do not accept sponsorships from game developers or run paid promotions. Ads cover hosting and editorial costs only.

Our editorial focus

Publishing under a single editorial brand keeps the focus where it belongs: on the accuracy of the data and the quality of the writing. It removes pressure to publish personal credentials as a substitute for credibility, and lets contributors rotate in and out without disrupting the project. Our credibility comes from transparent sourcing, consistent editorial standards, and the open methodology published on our data sources page — not from personal identity.

Editorial voice

Codex Editor

Editor-in-chief · GAG2 player since launch

The Codex Editor has followed Grow a Garden 2 closely since its June 2026 launch — tracking every patch note, mutation drop, and economy shift across hundreds of hours of combined editorial playtime. Their background in data journalism shapes GAG2 Wiki's four-tier confidence system and transparent conflict disclosure — every value on the site is traceable to a source. Editorial decisions are guided by a single question: “Would a new player make a better decision with this information?”

Editorial standards:No leaked/datamined content. No scripts, cheats, or automation. Mutation multipliers are labelled by confidence level — official, cross-source verified, single-source likely, or unconfirmed. Adopted planning values may still be single-source or unconfirmed, and every conflict is shown transparently on the mutation's page so readers can judge for themselves.

Contact

We do not publish a postal address or individual editor names. Legal and DMCA correspondence is handled via email at gg2codex@proton.me. The Garden Codex operates as an independent editorial brand; legal correspondence is handled via that mailbox.

What we do

See the methodology, editorial process, and compliance cards below for the full picture.

  • Curate values, codes, and tier lists with confidence labels.
  • Provide free interactive tools: value calculator, stock tracker, tier lists.
  • Publish guides and patch-note summaries.
  • Link back to the official game for everything we can't cover.

What we do NOT do

See the “What we don't do” compliance card below for the full boundaries.

  • Provide, link to, or endorse third-party automation, unsafe tools, or ToS-breaking tools. We don't promote unsafe automation or ToS-violating modifications.
  • Sell anything. The site is free, ad-supported only.
  • Store user accounts or personal data. There is no login.
  • Claim ownership of game assets, trademarks, or branding.

Game images & fair use

All in-game artwork, screenshots, icons, and visual assets shown on this site are © Roblox Corporation and the respective Strawberreh Squad development team. They are used here under the doctrine of fair use (17 U.S.C. §107) for the limited purpose of editorial identification — showing readers which crop, pet, gear, mutation, or weather event a page refers to. We do not host the original high-resolution Roblox asset bundles, we do not redistribute them as a downloadable pack, and we do not use them for any commercial purpose beyond the ad-supported fan wiki itself.

Each image is heavily compressed (≤ 800px, AVIF/WebP, ~6–8 KB per medium variant) and credited inline with a “© Roblox” chip linking to our data-sources page. If you are a rights holder and want an image removed, see the DMCA contact below.

DMCA / image takedown

To request removal of any image, email gg2codex@proton.me with (1) the URL of the page, (2) the specific image, and (3) proof of ownership or authorisation. We respond within 72 hours and will remove the disputed image while reviewing the request.

Data methodology

See the “Our methodology” card below for the four-level confidence system and update cadence.

Every value, stat, and code on this site is tagged with a confidence level. Read the data sources page for how we collect and verify data, how to report corrections, and our external link policy — including the authoritative Roblox and community sources we reference and the third-party automation, unsafe tools, or ToS-breaking sites we never link to.

Contact & corrections

See the “Contact & feedback” card below for the mailbox breakdown.

Spotted something wrong? Email us at gg2codex@proton.me with the page, the data point, and (ideally) your source. We credit corrections on request.

Our methodology

How we collect, verify, and label every data point on the wiki.

Data sources

We cross-reference five source types, with the most authoritative winning ties:

  • Roblox Badges API& the official game page — for achievement lists, rarity, and verified metadata.
  • The A bundle (in-game asset bundle) — for crop, gear, and pet visual identification.
  • TheGamer — mainstream games media; base resale values.
  • growagarden2wiki.net — independent community wiki; values and mutation data.
  • Fandom — secondary community source; used for cross-verification only.

See the full data sources & methodology page for the complete list and external-link policy.

Four-level confidence system

Every value, stat, and code is tagged with one of four confidence levels, surfaced on-page with a SourceBadge:

  • official
Sourced directly from an official Roblox endpoint, patch note, or developer announcement. Highest trust.
  • cross_source_verified
Confirmed by two or more independent sources (e.g. an in-game observation + TheGamer + a community wiki).
  • single_source_likely
Reported by one credible source but not yet cross-verified. Treated as provisional.
  • unconfirmed
Anecdotal or community-reported with no authoritative backing. Clearly labelled so readers know to verify.

Legacy internal aliases verified / likely are normalised to the canonical four-level labels at render time, so any not-yet-migrated data still shows a sensible badge.

Update cadence

Updates are event-driven: when a new code drops, a patch ships, or a community source publishes revised values, the relevant page is updated within 24 hours. On top of that, we run periodic calibration passes against the source sites so values don't drift. We don't promise a fixed daily/weekly schedule — we update when there is something accurate to publish.

Editorial process

From raw data to a published page — and how we use AI honestly.

How a page goes from data to published

  1. Data extraction — pull the raw value, stat, or code from the primary source (Roblox API, in-game, or source site).
  2. Multi-source cross-verification — check at least one independent source; assign the appropriate confidence label.
  3. Editorial review — a human editor checks the numbers, the framing, and the compliance posture (no unsafe automation or ToS-violating modifications, correct attribution chip).
  4. Publish — the page goes live with its confidence badge, last-reviewed date, and source attribution.

AI transparency
How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to assist with data extraction and content organisation. All data is verified against multiple sources before publication. No content is published without human editorial review.

Concretely, AI helps us draft structure and surface candidates from raw source material; it does not decide what counts as a verified value, and it does not approve its own output. A human editor signs off on every published edit.

Corrections policy

If you spot an error — a wrong value, a stale code, a misattributed image — report it and we will fix it. The fastest channel is email at gg2codex@proton.me (also used for DMCA / image takedowns). We credit corrections on the affected page when the reporter asks us to.

What we don't do

Hard compliance boundaries. We will not cross these.
  • We do not promote, host, or link to scripts, cheats, exploits, or any automation that breaks the Roblox Terms of Service.
  • We do not host downloadable executable code, installers, or modded clients.
  • We do not collect personal data. There is no login, no account, and no analytics that identify you. The only cookies are from our ad partner (Google AdSense) where required by their policy — see our privacy policy.
  • We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Strawberreh Squad, Roblox Corporation, or any Roblox developer or publisher. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

DMCA & image takedowns

Email gg2codex@proton.me with (1) the page URL, (2) the specific asset, and (3) proof of ownership. We respond within 72 hours and remove disputed images while reviewing.

Community

The GAG2 community lives on Reddit and Discord. We monitor public discussion for emergent data (new codes, mutation discoveries, event drops) but do not run an official server of our own — we link out to the existing community spaces rather than fragmenting them.
