Pineapple at 10,000 Sheckles is the upper-end Rare, and the buy decision comes down to whether you have the patience and the plot count for a longer cycle. Per pick, Pineapple pays more than Corn; per minute, the longer grow cycle narrows the gap. The values table has the exact rate-per-cycle numbers.

Stock chance is the practical bottleneck — Pineapple seed is in stock only a fraction of the time the shop is checked, so most Pineapple purchases are opportunistic. Keep a Sheckle buffer ready and treat every stock window as a buy signal, even if it interrupts a Corn cycle.

Because Pineapple has the longest grow cycle in the Rare tier, growth-acceleration gear has the most value here of any Rare crop. A Common Sprinkler plus a Deer pet can shave a meaningful fraction off each Pineapple cycle, which compounds across many harvests over the life of a multi-harvest plot.

On the harvest side, Pineapple is one of the crops where a Monkey pet (auto-harvest) pays back its premium cost fastest — the long cycle means missing a ripe harvest to a distraction is a real per-cycle loss, not a minor one. If you can only afford one premium pet, Pineapple plots are a strong case for Monkey.
