Cherry is the mid-tier Legendary, and the point where per-pick payouts start to feel large. One Cherry harvest is worth more than two Dragon Fruit harvests and rivals a full plot of Banana picks — check the values table for the exact numbers.

The right moment to move into Cherry is once Dragon Fruit income is compounding reliably. Cherry seed costs more than Dragon Fruit, and the cycle is long enough that converting too many plots at once starves the rest of the farm of working capital. The safer pattern is one Cherry plot at a time, paid for out of Dragon Fruit surplus rather than out of savings, so a bad stretch on the Cherry plot does not cascade into the rest of the farm.

Cherry also rewards mutation play more than any crop below it. The profit calculator shows the exact multipliers — applying Gold or a weather mutation to a high Legendary base value produces a single-pick payout far beyond the sticker. The long cycle means the crop is in the ground across multiple weather windows; treat that as a fact about timing rather than a claim about mutation odds. Players who have unlocked mutation-related pets such as the Golden Dragonfly or Unicorn often see Cherry plots produce effective yields that dwarf the sticker price, which is part of why Cherry stays a target even when higher-tier crops unlock.

Inside Legendary, Cherry sits in the middle of the pack. Dragon Fruit is the entry Legendary, Acorn is a marginal step up, Cherry is a clear value jump, and Sunflower is the ceiling. On rate per plot per cycle, Cherry is well above Dragon Fruit and Acorn. Sunflower's rate is higher still, so Cherry is not the peak Legendary — but it is the highest-rate Legendary most players will commit to before Sunflower seed cost becomes reachable.

The practical read: Cherry is the income-scaling Legendary. Once a couple of Cherry plots are running, the Sheckle cushion they produce funds the climb toward Sunflower without forcing you to sell off other assets. Players who stop at Cherry and never reach Sunflower will still see strong income — Cherry is the crop where late-game farming actually starts to feel lucrative.
